The Kale poster is part of the Apothecary Series from DryThings in Stockholm. This series of prints was inspired by their interest in beautiful natural things, especially those involving food. Dry things produce their products using sustainable processes.
- Dimensions: 297 x 420 cm
- Materials: Uncoated fine paper
Sold unframed and rolled in a postal tube
How to flatten your print before framing or hanging: Carefully remove the print from the cardboard tube and unfurl. Lay it on a clean flat surface and weight down each corner with non-marking items such as bags of flour. Alternatively, use the tissue paper that the print was wrapped in to protect the corners of your print from any other heavy items that you might use. After about 4 hours, or overnight the paper fibres should have settled flat, and you’re ready to go! (Never try to speed up the process by ironing your prints, this could cause the paper to wrinkle, and the inks to run.)
Koti & Co’s thoughts
“Kale. Move over spinach, there’s a new leaf in town.. Popeye, you are SO last year darling. Create your own shrine to the wonder veg with this poster from Drythings. The Kale poster is printed on thick smooth, uncoated paper and comes carefully wrapped in tissue, and slotted into a black poster tube with an embossed label that is so pretty, you’ll want to keep it. Inside, there’s a little leaflet about the inspiration for the print too, so it feels like your very own piece of artwork” Kat
