The Hazel poster is part of the Grow Series from DryThings in Stockholm. This series of prints was inspired by the strength of new trees aiming for life. Dry things produce their products using sustainable processes.
- Dimensions: 29.7 x 42 cm
- Materials: Uncoated fine paper
Sold unframed and rolled in a postal tube
How to flatten your print before framing or hanging: Carefully remove the print from the cardboard tube and unfurl. Lay it on a clean flat surface and weight down each corner with non-marking items such as bags of flour. Alternatively, use the tissue paper that the print was wrapped in to protect the corners of your print from any other heavy items that you might use. After about 4 hours, or overnight the paper fibres should have settled flat, and you’re ready to go! (Never try to speed up the process by ironing your prints, this could cause the paper to wrinkle, and the inks to run.)
Koti & Co’s thoughts
“Get some wood! Or at least an illustration of it. The Hazel poster makes a lovely friend for the Oak poster – also by DryThings. Put them both on your wall, and you’ll have the beginnings of a forest growing right in your living room. The Hazel poster is printed on thick smooth, uncoated paper and comes carefully wrapped in tissue, and slotted into a black poster tube with an embossed label that is so pretty, you’ll want to keep it. Inside, there’s a little leaflet about the inspiration for the print too, so it feels like your very own piece of artwork.” Nic
